The next day I woke up and remembered that I didn't like how the coloring was going, so I delayed opening it. IT wasn't even bad, sleepy me was just tired I guess. this wad also another sketchbook redo!

Kicking off #HispanicHeritageMonth #LatinXHeritageMonth with Manny Vega's "Sábado en la Ciento Diez (Saturday on 110th Street)" (1996) at the 110th Street (6) station in Manhattan. The imagery in the four ceramic mosaic panels represents Earth, Air, Fire and Water, and captures the joyous, colorful atmosphere of la ciento diez, revealing Vega's childhood memories growing up in New York City. In Water, an elderly woman represents motherhood as she carries a bouquet of flowers and leads a child by the hand from a neighborhood botánica.
