The cute & picturesque #LaTrobesCottage in the #KingsDomain. The remains of the prefab house brought from England by Charles La Trobe in 1839 which formed the centre of his house as Superintendent of the Port Phillip District then Lieutenant-Governor of the State of Victoria until his departure in 1854. It was moved near here from near the #MCC in #Jolimont by the #NationalTrust in 1963 and reconstructed (the library is original and the oldest house in Victoria), then moved to this site in 1998.
