I lowkey wanna block the byler tag or at least any ST 5 content. Everytime I log in I just start grieving all over again and I get mad at their writing choices and the ending that we got.

Don't get me wrong, I will still adore the fanart and read lots of fic. Heck I still have plans for so many fics myself... but I think that right now I need to distance myself from the echo chamber that is the ST fandom rn, for my mental health and so I can continue loving this characters in the long run

As someone that lived through the VLD fandom and the klance queerbait when I was 14-16, probably my first queerbait and it's now a byler as an 22 yo adult I feel like I have to give every queer and/or neurodivergent kid that had their hopes on byler a warm hug and a cup of hot chocolate cause that was what older queer fans did for us back in the day
