The Pillars sat at their seats. One night free of pestering demons, especially after their mission ----- None would be spared as they crawled out of false homes, drawn out by alluring blood from the Wind Breath user. A wind of peace surrounded him, an odd feature rarely showed towards anyone. The hunt has been completed. Yet, he didn’t offer the other a single glance or gratitude for having his back, even though he fervently denied needing any help of the sort. But on the topic of gratitude of being assigned together, The Flower Pillar was the least to get on his nerves so, there they were. A shabby dine in. The wood looked like it could come down within moments due to the heavy rainfall. The water's constant attack against the shelter as if ready to take down any who dared to be caught within its assault and adamantly trying to get to those within hiding.
Eyes glanced out of the wooden window. Only a few inches away from the rain’s touch. Grey hues looked out with usual grumpy expression, hand nestling his chin as he leaned into it for support. It was quiet. They were the only ones who occupied the small place. Everyone else would have been already asleep. Away from the night and the creatures that it brings. But any stomach growls at night. “ This place is good, alright. “ A clear statement breaking the silence between the two. “ Got that? “ Another break in the silence like thunder. Grey hues broke their concentration from the events of rain, looking at the other. A scoff sent towards her, as if proud of his preferred location. “ They make really good stuff but try out the rice first ! ----- “ He was truly incapable of acting normal after their last exchange. The constant feeling in his chest as he looked at her everlasting smile. It broke his cold stares and aggression like the morning sun broke the winter dew that latched itself onto the grass. His hues lightly covering his scarred body. It was so hard to contain himself. So. Very. Hard.
Grey hues matched hers and she stared so intently at him. Was she staring at his very soul? He broke the contact after the prolong contact. Eyes shut themselves to avoid glances but he heard the footsteps come towards him and with the vibration sending towards his side, his eyes opened. A glance forward, she was nowhere to be found ----- Another was taken and there she was. Seated next to him. “ Why?! “ No longer his words sounding like statements or demands but an actual question but she only smiled back at him. “ Whatever. . .” He couldn’t force her either way and he was perfectly happy and comfortable with his seat and refused to change his spot to the other side. Or did he enjoy having her so close? Now a different footstep approached them, a whiff of rice catching his attention. It was HERE. A smile rose to his lips as the attendant had placed their order along the table and without wasting time, he went to devour the contents of the bowl.
Moments had passed before he finally decided to come back from his bowl, a happy expression forming on his features. “ Go on and try it. “ The way he spoke was free. He was happy to eat here. It reminded him of . . . home. but he would never say that. A genuine smile and because of that, he was unaware of the stray rice along the side of his lips.
He listened and watched. He thought she would simply grab it but he watched her, eyes lighting up as she approached. He waited for the hand to rise but she only got close. Heart thumped in his face as hers came to his. Lips touched his skin. Lips touched his lips. Was he dreaming of this occurrence? No. He was sure this is real. He watched her pull back from the. . . kiss. His inner flame burning up enough to change his hue entirely. She licked her lips as she looked at him. “ Oh. . . “ Is that all you can say, dumbass?!?!?! He internally screamed. He was in a blissful daze and . . . he wanted to feel that again. Grey hues sat in their sockets at it looked at the bowl of rice, noticing some of the contents stuck to the side of his bowl ----- the undevoured ones. A finger slowly went to the remains and stuck a couple onto his lips before looking back at the Flower Pillar. “ I think, I mean, stuff. . . there is more rice. “ Fuck. He must have looked like an idiot but . . . he wanted to feel her lips once again.
@shioreta asked "oh, you have some rice on your mouth." she leaned forward &. kissed him, rice granule sticking to her rose hued tiers. flower pillar pulled away blinking her lilac hues at him. pressing lips together &. licked them, she smiled. "much better." / unprompted.
