John just thinks his Dave's feathers are really soft, okay! And Dave's makes these little bird sound when he scratches just right--he's practically begging for it! Dave wonders if John even knows what he's doing. What's he saying, it's John. Of course he doesn't.

It’s John from the doomed timeline and Davesprite.

Mostly I remember this one because it was really interesting to me to contemplate the sort of body issues that could arise from being a sprite from the waist down. This fic doesn’t go into that, but it’s an interesting idea
