Y’all already know today is our baby’s Happy Blessed 21st Birthday and she gone get whatever she want all weekend PERIODT‼️ Courtney and I are so proud of the lady Melina Danyel Rose is growing into daily. Watching Melina grow into the Good Treasure that God created her to be is such a blessing. Melina came into the world on her own terms, focused, determined and self motivated we didn’t teach her that we just nurtured, protected and supported it. No one could get Melina off her game from day one in the world fast forward to today; not Ma, Dad, doctors or anyone PERIODT! It took me two days to say go get my daughter what she wants, it’s not what we think, she don’t want it, that nurse said she will eventually I said go get it now or I will walk to the store and get it myself. That set the president we will support you and not try to change you or let anyone else try, not even family. These things are what we love the most about Melina today; more than her laugh, heart, spirit, her leadership, the genuine caring friend she strives to be or her beauty. But when she was little Lina Bug this sometimes caused Melina and I problems because I had to learn, God created another person even more fierce and focused than me in my daughter. I did learn that Melina has her own plan and boundaries and came into this world owning her atmosphere, joy and peace and don’t let anyone interfere, Not family or anyone. STAY THAT WAY, Dad and I will always support it. Your discernment is so on target, stay right there! As you launch out in this new level, next chapter of your life embrace you even more because God has commanded blessings of a future and hope over you and no matter what is thrown in your direction always remember “God is within her, Melina will not fall; God will help her at break of day.” Psalms‬ ‭46:5‬ ‭NIV‬‬ Enjoy your weekend and new year of life on purpose, to the fullest, on your own terms, all gas and no brakes.
