Saw you like Sailor Moon. Who do you think are better? The Sisters of the Black Moon Clan or The Amazoness Quartet?
Hmm, this is a tough one. I do like the Sisters (in both renditions of Sailor Moon). Compared to the Quartet, they seemed more threatening. However, I have always had soft spot for the Amazoness Quartet. They’re really interesting (And I love who they become in the manga) So I have to go with them :D
Saw you had Sailor Moon Crystal gifs. What do you think about the series?
Hi!
Overall, I really like it! I grew up with Sailor Moon, so seeing recreated was very nice. It’s also interesting to see it follow the manga, since I had never read the manga until recently. :) (Along with updated transformations!)
Hi! want to ask your opinion about Saru's feeling towards Yata. Thanks before :)
Hi! Oh gosh, there are so many things I think about concerning this. (Heads up, this will probably be biased…and long)
So, I believe that Saru cares about Yata. A lot. Misaki had a huge impact on Saru’s life, which is shown throughout LSW. At first, when I first got into the series,I had thought that Saru was obsessed with Yata, to the point that it was scary. As we got more stuff (Drama cds, the manga, the novels) I can see that it’s not really (or just) an obsession.
There was the interview Yellow did (And I think it may be in LSW, I’m not really sure) that said that Fushimi believed that he (Saru) hated Yata and he wanted Yata to hate him as well because of it. (And cause Yata’s reactions were entertaining) However that’s not case really. There are quite a few times where Saru has shown he does not hate him all. Even if he himself hasn’t realized yet. I also read a meta before (a really good one!) about Saru pushing people away so he can’t get hurt and I agree with it 100%. He has watched his small worlds get destroyed since he was a kid (by his dad) and Yata paying more attention to Mikoto and Homra was destroying his new small world. So he destroyed it himself by breaking off his friendship with Yata before Yata could.
So, what do I think about Saru’s feelings for Yata. Simple: he loves him. Whether you see it as romantic or platonic (it’s up to you), he loves him. But like he pushes away the Scepter 4 members, like he pushes away the chance to get closer to Reisi and Seri, he’s pushing away Yata. And once he realizes this (with some character development I hope will come with S2) hopefully he and Yata can work things out and become boyfriends *shot
Where I'm still on a hype from the trailer, listening to songs that trigger my imagination, and I should be in bed.
Just thought of a scene where Yata and Fushimi get into a emotional fight where Misaki ends up crying out that no matter how he tried to hate Fushimi, he couldn't stop loving him. Saruhiko is stunned before just leaving him. Jump some time later (after a big battle, based off the movie trailer) . After all is calm, Saruhiko (who has realized how important Misaki is to him) tries to tell Misaki he loves him but it comes out as "I...don't hate you..." This makes Misaki laugh and he hugs him saying "I don't hate you too, Saruhiko." This leads to Saruhiko blushing, maybe a few tears, and a warm smile. Happy end :D
And now I see why the J fans were freaking out over the visual and relating it to Sarumi
It reminded me of the fight of episode 5 (Which makes sense since it's where the screencap is from). While fighting, Yata knocks Fushimi's glasses off. However, Fushimi is able to keep fighting, keep going, without them. After a bit, he goes, picks them up and puts them back on cause in the end, he still needs them.
So, I just realized, after looking at the most recent MOR chapter spoilers, that all of Memory of Red took place two years prior to the anime. At least I think...
What I think (not sure if right) is that Chapter 1 (Which was about Shouhei) took place in the winter two years prior (Shortly after Fushimi left). Then, between winter and spring was the Chitose chapter. The following chapters about Eric took place during the spring, as did the Basashi chapters. After that was the chapter focused on Izumo, which I think took place during the summer. The next chapter was Summer Kamamoto XD. After that were the chapters focused on Yata and Fushimi, which took place during the fall.
Skip winter and enter spring of the next year is the next chapter focused on Mikoto and Anna. Right after that is the Beach chapter which is in the summer. The most recent chapter takes place on November 25 (Fall).
Since it looks like the next chapter is going to be the last, it's likely that, like Stray Dog Story, MOR is ending where the anime begins. (Maybe)
(Also, this makes me think that when Yata see Fushimi in Chapter 10, it's been a year since he last saw him...but that just me)
