Synopsis 

For Mina Waters, a 16 year old African American girl, nothing is cooler than the legend of the Protectors: humans with different magical abilities who protect their country of origin.  One September afternoon, she discovers that she is one. Mina meets a young girl named Alessia who claims to be a Protector who lost her ability to shape shift.   Alessia was given a mission to find a mystical pendant that controls the magic of all Protectors.  The magical object was hidden inside a person known as the Ariasola and passed down their family line.   Targeted by a ruthless queen, Alessia begs for Mina’s help in finding them before the queen does.   Forming a team, Mina joins Alessia’s quest to find the holy treasure.

Know your a fan of Sailor Moon. What do think of Nehelenia in the anime? I felt sorry for her. She wasn't really that evil, she was just depressed and lonely. Thoughts?

Hmm, I’m not sure what I think of Nehelenia.  It’s been a long time since I’ve seen that part of the anime, so I’ll have to rewatch at some point ^__^

Saw you like Sailor Moon. Who do you think are better? The Sisters of the Black Moon Clan or The Amazoness Quartet?

Hmm, this is a tough one.  I do like the Sisters (in both renditions of Sailor Moon). Compared to the Quartet, they seemed more threatening. However, I have always had soft spot for the Amazoness Quartet.  They’re really interesting (And I love who they become in the manga) So I have to go with them :D

Overall, I really like it! I grew up with Sailor Moon, so seeing recreated was very nice.  It’s also interesting to see it follow the manga, since I had never read the manga until recently. :) (Along with updated transformations!)

So I’ve posted the prologue and first chapter for my original fic, “Protecting Illumination” :D.

This is something I’ve been working on for a while (2 years now I think) and I decided to bring it back.  This is art for my original fiction Protecting Illumination, which I’m going to start posting privately/invite only on my livejournal.

I used to watch your famine Fire hearts and I also watched JCStars' Care Bear Stars and was wondering if you still keep in touch with him? I miss his work and wanted to know if he was still out there in the internet world.

Hi!  I actually have not kept in touch with him :(  Back then, my Youtube account was deleted and after that I lost touch with a lot of the fanime makers.  Though I have been wondering where he has been as well!  I still his remember his work along with others :(

In the corners of Shizume City, where futuristic buildings with huge screens on the walls stood lined up, it happened often that you’d see a scenery that looked like time had stopped there many years ago. The vending machines that lingered in the dark gaps between buildings and that sold bottles of soft drinks were one of those views. Retro-style bottles of cola and carbonated orange juice lined up behind the dirty glass. For Yata who hadn’t been alive ‘many years ago’ yet this was a new sight, rather than it being nostalgic.

I saw your Fire Hearts fanime and was wondering if you ever thought of reviving it?

Hi!  I’m glad you watched it before.  :)

Before, I did but I haven’t looked at it in a long time.  I also haven’t animated anything in forever!  I’m actually working on something right now that I’m focused on too.

While I’d like to do FireHearts again, it probably won’t be anytime soon.

thank you for answering my fire hearts question. I was wondering if you could possibly tell me the name of the theme song you used for it on your YouTube videos. You see I watched them in the past and was curious? Could you tell me, please? If you remember that is.

Oh, okay!  At first I didn’t remember and had to go back through music to figure it out lol.  Anyways, I remember having two, though I’m not sure if I even posted the second one.
