To start off with these 3 artwork pieces, Laura Meyer is known to create mixed media artworks as seen in the first 3 photos; moreover, she uses an assortment of items and objects that relates to main aspects of what is happening around in real life, even in her own life. From what I see in Meyer's artworks, I find this inspirational and this relates to main elements of Art and photography, this includes the use of shape, form, spacing, and texture as well. Plus these type of artworks were able to influence my own creative production as an artist and a photographer while understanding what is happening in today's art world.

Vai chegar um dia que não irei mais agüentar a saudade, e ela transbordará pelos meus olhos. Pense que isso não são lágrimas de tristeza, mas também tampouco de alegria. É incrível como pude viver sem te ter por mais de semanas, sendo que hoje uns dias voltam a me sufocar. Saudade é uma dor inexplicável, parece que o tempo pára. E não há distração que o faça passar. Não sei o que faço com meus dias que parecessem ser tão compridos, nem como cessar os meus pensamentos quando a noite chega. É como estar sozinha, sem estar. É como se um vazio encontrasse meu peito e fizesse o doer intensamente até eu esquecer. Mas dão alguns poucos minutos e volta, até a próxima esquecida. Saudade é parecer que o mundo vai acabar, e de repente perceber que não é tão grave assim. Saudade é ser dramática aos montes e de repente se auto-confortar sabendo que logo vai passar, tão logo como irá sempre voltar.
