This was my Rambo of the day! @Regrann from @lauraonthestreet - This was my Rambo of the day! He had me and @htreed11 laughing our butts off! Rambo had such a great personality in spite of being at the shelter for two weeks. He had us rolling in laughter while he was awake, but as soon as I touched his hair and started cutting he starting literally drifting to sleep. I had to pull him back up to be able to cut. I loved the band Anthrax growing up and a couple weeks ago heard their song Who Cares Wins @Regrann from @lauraonthestreet - I loved the band Anthrax growing up and a couple weeks ago heard their song Who Cares Wins. I never really heard the words when I was a teenager, but now I closely and intently listened to a song that 25 years ago I would scream and bang my head to on a regular basis. Although Anthrax sang who cares wins as a negative meaning I choose to look at different. While painting this I got excited! People who care win! People who live with open eyes and open hearts to those suffering around them and choose to do something about it win! You do not have to save the world but by just looking for opportunities around you to help assist in helping with humanity you can make a change in people minds. I hear some people say why are there never any good people in this world but then I also hear people say wow I can't believe there's so many good people in this world! This is Pat @Regrann from @lauraonthestreet - This is Pat. Pat was a court reporter for 25 years. When she lost her job she was devastated but found bartending a good way to make money. Unfortunately she served to a minor and the restaurant closed down and she lost her job again. At the same time her husband of 10 years lost his job as well. No income, no insurance, no help. Pat says she has been treated very well at the shelters and the day center. She's been homeless for two weeks now but she and her husband will be eligible for picking up Social Security soon. With the hopes of that, they will be able to be providing for themselves soon. Pat was super excited to donate her hair to help others! @Regrann from I recently lost around 35 pictures that I've taken while cutting hair for the homeless @lauraonthestreet - I recently lost around 35 pictures that I've taken while cutting hair for the homeless. When I realized that happened I teared up pretty bad. With the lost of my photos I felt I also lost the stories of those who allowed, and trusted me to photograph them and share their stories. Losing them does not negate what I have done. I know with or without those photos I've touched many peoples lives and I'm very proud to do that whether it's documented or not. I just really like reading over my stories and praying for the people in them. I do wonder where some of them are and if they are okay.
