Today's woman of science (as voted for on my most recent poll) is Laurel Weaver, Medical Doctor and Examiner from 1997's Men in Black. I was surprised she won, but then again I'm guessing most of my followers grew up in the '90s like myself. I have very fond memories of this movie. So quotable. Laurel here is a pretty funny character. I love that her reaction to an alien the first time is to help it try to think of the English word, "belt". This is the third lady in the series accompanied by a cat. I guess cats and scientists just go together somehow.
