I know I should take the high road and not want to see bad things happen to him (especially because we did and do work in the same social circle) but tbh it gives me the warm fuzzies to know that I have at least five friends (off the top of my head) who’ve offered to kick his ass for me.

(Although even if he DID get his ass kicked, I don’t think it would make a dent in him, emotionally, because he never seems to think he’s done anything wrong, even if someone’s saying to his face “hey, that thing you did was fucked up.” Like, I painstakingly explained to him why the party incident hurt my feelings- twice- and the most I got in terms of an apology was “that’s fair.”)

Bb say the word and i’ll end him. tbh from my prospective i always read it as like he wanted a relationship but didn’t want to put in an effort/ghosted you for a bit which is like. ugh. men are really garbage and they always take longer to emotionally attach themselves that if he dropped off after a certain point he should’ve not just. left you hanging and drop it abruptly.

I think he was happy to have me around when we when we were working together (because hey, free sex) and he didn’t have to put any real effort into it because we were thrown together every day as part of the job. (And I was good at my job, which meant good things for his job, so he didn’t want to do anything that would make me want to leave.) And then the job ended so he didn’t need to keep me happy, and he met someone else so he didn’t need to keep me around for sex, so it was easy for him to just drop me. (Although honestly, I feel like if I hadn’t put my foot down about not seeing him if he had a girlfriend, he’d probably still be stringing me along.) Based on stuff I’ve heard from other people, he seems to be someone who always wants to have a potential girlfriend on hand, but if it’s at all difficult or time-consuming for him, he bails.

thank you. It’s a good thing I am into making clothing because buying historically accurate clothing is definitely out of my budget but I can certainly make ones that aspire to historical accuracy.

Indeed they did. It’s pretty cool that many of the clothing related thing that people will claim were never done in Europe in that period totally were being done in Italy and/or Spain.
