VISCERA
An elegant yet morbid viewing experience. Filmmaker Lauren Morrison takes us into a hauntingly animated world that’s a cross between a Nine Inch Nails music video and a late night scary movie (which for some, are the same thing). I’m still on the fence as to whether this is Morrison’s anti-meat message or a love letter to it. Regardless, the attention to detail is outstanding and impressive. I’m a big fan of her talent and hope that she continues to find ways to tell her twisted stories.
