Well, the whole application period takes a year, so… it’s totally in your timeline! Where are you thinking?

Yeah but my intent was not to go to gradschool till Fall 2015.  So applying now for Fall 2014 is too early.

Top choices are MIT for space systems engineering or earth and planetary sciences (EAPS), Harvard for EAPS, or Michigan for space systems engineering.

I also said I was never going to go to MIT or Harvard >__< WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME.  I'm hoping when I talk with my advisor this week he can point me towards some other school that isn't here. But he's probably just going to say MIT and specifically his lab because then he'll have me here through 2015 for the other work I do for him.

I really want to not go to school in this area (Boston), but leaving this area means I have to wait till late 2015 because I have to build/launch my satellites by early 2015.
