Zapsalis is a tooth taxon from the Dinosaur Park Formation, living about 75 million years ago, in the Campanian age of the Late Cretaceous. Known from many teeth, they are very similar to teeth known from late-derived Dromaeosaurs, and as such is probably a Dromaeosaur. However, it cannot be assigned to any previously known Dromaeosaur genus.
