The Demon Tide Book Review.

Wow this was incredibly bad.

I was a massive fan of the series and I was hoping this would be nothing like the Shadow wand but it was like Laurie double down on all the haters and kept going in spite of it all. Where was the editor? Was this even edited. It was basically high school fan fiction where everyone gets paired up. For all those thinking maybe Shadow Wand was just a mistake, nope, this is the direction it's going in now and i don't even care how this ends now. I want to erase this book from my mind.

When we began it was like - cool they didn't kill off Lucas to solve the love triangle, I hate that.

When it ended - WTF they killed of Lucas to solve the stupid love triangle. I don't know why YA writers do that. Just because the Second Male Lead doesn't get the girl why do they have to kill him off. All he did wrong was not winning.

There are so many thing wrong with this book small list below.

SO many POV with the same point and repetitive narrative. There is a hundred POV and they are all involved in some form of forbidden love. Tierney storyline is legit exactly the same as Elloren. They should have just make her the main character because at least she had personality.

The messaging was in your face, there was no subtleness to messaging you were hit in the face with the peaching.

The romance was so stupid, everyone just had instant chemistry and undeniable attraction that legit how most of the became interested in each other. It was all instantaneous.

Tristan was treated like trash even his love interest was trash - he used to make out with other guys in front of him.

There was 50 chapters of stupid backstory before anything actually happened.
