Foxbury Public Dorms

Ever wished your university housing felt a bit more.. Public? Yeah, me too. I've built these dorms for my like-minded people that want kinda yucky dorms, and kept my low-end pc fellas in mind and didn't go too wild with the clutter in areas like bathrooms and hallways where it doesn't matter as much.

I will be actually making vanilla sims for ALL of the bedrooms. Yup. It's gonna take a WHILE I assume, as I put a lot of love and effort into my sims but I will also upload pics of their bedrooms along with the sims in case you want to populate the lot more easily

gameplay advice:

Move your sims with freerealestate and deduct around 100 simoleons each term to keep it realistic. These are, after all, public dorms.

Use mods to choose your uni roomates, then MCCC to up the maximum sims in zone. Since the lot can fit up to 27 sims, there should be at least, like, 30something sims allowed in zone. I'd take it up to 40 if your PC can handle it, but do it gradually, try 32 at first maybe and see how that goes.

I've recorded the footage of making this and plan on making a YT vid with voice-over! We'll see when that happens.

Hi!! I was keeping this message in my ask box so as not to forget the page and the mod, but another message came about this so I thought It would be better if I answered it.

I saw and checked the mod. I think it can be applied to my rice cooker. If possible, I also would love for the object to be functional but I am working on another big set at the moment and don't have much time :(( I will try to contact the creator of the mod to get permission and learn more about it when I have free time, although I have to say It won't be right away. If I can make the rice cooker functional, I'll share that version as well. Otherwise, I will let you know.

Foxbury Public Dorm Residents: The Gamer Nerds!

completely CC-free vanilla townies for your sims university! this post is kind of a mess aesthetically but i'll get the hang of it yall. baby steps - i forgot to add the solid color CAS bg ;-;

They come with multiple outfits, likes and dislikes and they're of course, already enrolled.

🐿 Spencer is the chill kinda shy gamer dude who dreams of owning a hut somewhere far away with a bunch of animals. Probably Copperdale, my bro doesn't like the heat, but he likes to feel cozy. He's majoring in computer science.

🦈 Jaiden is the mysterious one that looks scary but is actually the realest friend. She has 2 sides, the kinda grungy style and the neon purple side when her gamergirl side shines.

🐦 Lucia is the bright and giddy Sanrio obsessed gamer girl who literally doesn't give a damn what anyone thinks! She's unapologetically her loud self and loves hard.

i’m on gen 4 in my family dynamics LP and needed sum celebs soo here they are! Let me introduce them to you. - it might seem like a lot of text but it’s juicy pls read<3

1st row: Tash Castillo has been on Simstube since she was a teen, hence her massive following. She does every-day casual vlogs, and hasn’t been affected even a bit by all the fans and fame her career has earned her. She has been humble since day 1- Well, alright.. Maybe she did date famous chef Hiroshi Ono to live in his huge modern mansion for a while, but he turned out to be extremely possessive and toxic, so they broke it off after a year and a half, though Hiroshi is still bitter about it... Tash is happy now living in her lovely retro humble home with her husband Ty Kahn, who used to also be a chef, but hated how aggressive everyone was in the kitchen. He’s a soft happy boy, and he decided to share the smile he always has on his face by becoming a comedian.

2nd row: Yvonne Blanchard is your typical old money illustriously famous actress that everyone knows and.. hates. Well, it’s well known that, as good as she might be as an actress, she’s not the best person, and her daughter Audrey Blanchard is following those exact footsteps, willing to step on anyone’s back just to get the leading role. It’s no surprise that when Aurora Blanchard, that was known by the pen name April White, came out as the world-famous children’s author, no one believed her! They believed neither that such a dark creepy girl could be writing those happy-go-lucky children's books, nor that her surprisingly sweet and generous personality could be related to the Blanchards!! If she wasn’t Audrey’s identical twin, and if her books weren’t filled with deep cruel allegories, no one would’ve believed her.

VANILLA TEEN DUMP DROP !! 

My current legacy heir aged up to a teen and i wanted to put all of the core npc teen sims in a household to set up the choose your high school classmates mod  more easily. So here they are, my babies. More info about them & DOWNLOAD below the cut.

[Meanie] Mahi Laghari has been pressured into being an overachiever by her whole family since a little baby. All she knows is competition and being the best, and all she wants is to be the best at everything. But what she really needs, is some freedom and peace of mind. 

[Chess club] Russell Belcher is your typical awkward smart kid who’s actually so sweet and eager to help. He tours all the new students and helps them feel at home as much as he can !! He might be hella smart, but he’s patient with everyone since he knows first hand that we can all be a little clumsy sometimes.

[Football club] Theo Denney is an absolute sweetheart. He’s kind of your typical himbo dude, but 10 times more wholesome. He loves hugs and comforting people. He dreams of becoming a world famous athlete to donate to charities, and support his poor struggling family as much as he can. 

[Computer club] Jo Park is such a fun and bright person. They’re the funniest and will always support & hype you up no matter what. They’re also the first person you’ll want to invite to your party, even though.. They’re usually the ones throwing it, in their parents’ giant modern mansion, since they’ll always be doing business abroad. They go by JoMama online. They’re hoping to become a famous switch streamer, and e-sports gamer.

[cheer captain] London Keener is a powerhouse. Great grades, great friends, attends all the parties, and is a great cheer captain. How can she manage to be so perfect? No one knows how, but Mahi seems to particularly dislike her for it.

P.S: sources say they’ve seen Theo & Russ be awfully close... Buddies. No one knows what’s up tho !!

None of the sims are using any cc, but i strongly recommend using @simkoos piercing default replacements. The only cc in the pics are my defaults which you can find in my resources page.

( @25dejulho ) it depends on the save, but usually i start in another simmers save (my faves are ratboysims and simlicys), either build a house or find a shell off the gallery and decorate it myself, make a fam, then make some townies, give them all skills, careers, etc. just so theyre not like- newborns THEN start playing dkfjk its hella overkill and takes hours but thats how i do it 😭😭😭 tbh u dont even gotta do all that, u can just start in the aforementioned saves by other simmers and start ur own sims from scratch dkfjfgkj

( @catladyfinds ) hi!! i try to keep my cheating pretty minimal, but theres no like- hard fast rules i do. i never cheat money just bc i think its boring for my sims to be hella rich skfjkgfgk but at the same time, if they have to pee and the toilet is 3 stories up then ill just say fuck it and cheat it 😭😭 so my rule is pretty much, quick lil cheating of needs is fine, but nothing that would make the game too easy or unrealistic 

currently its cas and gameplay! but im hoping to get bit by the building bug again bc i have some ideas dkffkfg
