OC-tober Art Challenge Day 3- Lavadee

A Lavender Gijinka, Lavadee is a dozy laid-back character that is asleep 90% of the time. Living the dream some of us dream; relaxing/napping 24/7 lmao. I wish I drew her more, but it’s hard to make opportunity of anything when all your character does is sleep. Might need to fix that sometime, cause sleepiness is not all a character should be. Anyways she was originally created by @soranova, who passed Lavadee (at the time unnamed) onto me along with some other un-coloured characters for me to do whatever I wanted with them. So I coloured her with colours acquired from a photo of a Lavender plant and bam; Lavender girl.

There was another time I had drawn her in greater frequency; illustrations for a children’s book (for Children's Literature in College) as a cute little child. Nowadays I prefer to draw her as an adult instead, but I love Lavadee adult, child, or otherwise. She’s my little sleepyhead.
