I’ve been back into the Dragon Age fandom for months, but I finally finished a drawing that involves it. It just be like that.

Favourite moment from DAI. Replaying the games as preperation for DA4. Thumbnail sketch + thoughts underneath the cut 

This may be incoherent as I am under pain meds.

3 things inspired this drawing. 

1. I wanted to draw something for myself. Instead of forcing myself to crete something out of “the need to draw everyday”, I just decided to do wat I wanted for once. 

2. I hadn’t drawn a male in a veeeeeeeeeery long time. This was started before my Dimitri piece, so I think I hadn’t draw one since 2018? I, to literally everyone’s surprise, like men, so why not show my love of them through my art?

3. I wanted to create something good from something shitty to prove that the only way I would create anything good, is by taking time with drawings. I usually want to finish them in one sitting (13-14 hours) but that never creates a good result. I wanted to prove to myself there isn’t a “too long” for creating art and drew this over the course of 1-2 weeks.
