At some point the hexsquad asked to see Halestorm in concert, and the four adults took the chance to chaperone. Of course, they got special bts privileges :3

I imagine the polycule plus guests would hang out fairly often, taking turns hosting. Usually the kids aren’t around and they can avoid watching their mouths for a few hours. Dave and Eda are absolutely the ones who take advantage of that the most.

I have many thoughts about everyone's dynamics.

17 and 19 x icy and darius ofc!

17. Who is more competitive?

Darius by a mile!! Icy is competitive about very specific things, like magic (she loves magic sparring with Darius btw, because he can actually keep up with her). Darius can and will make everything a competition with the right motivation (the motivation usually being Eberwolf, Eda, Raine or Lilith teasing him, or Hunter saying he'll ask something to someone else)

2. Who gets up to cook at 2am?

Neither of them. Why would they, if Darius can just summon an abomination and make it cook for them?

(In any scenario where it's about being restless and Needing to Do Something, it's Darius. Icy doesn’t like cooking nearly enough to consider it a destress activity)

19. What do they fight about most often? (Alternative: what was their biggest fight?)

This is hard for me because they are incredibly similar and Know exactly how to handle each other. This may sound like the perfect premise for them to actively try to get on each other's nerves, but they don’t really do that. Or better, they do, but it's rarely if ever anything more than joking around.

Most of the time their arguments are just sarcasm about actual issues they have (i.e. how to do something The Right Way), going >:( at each other for some time, then talking about it like normal people (Icy is usually the one who starts that part because she knows Darius will take longer and she wants to get it over with).

The biggest argument they had so far happened in the fic and was really a lack of communication. (Spoilers: because Darius didn't feel like figuring out his feelings since there was a 90-10 chance he'd die the next day, he said he didn’t have feelings for Icy. And he believed their chances to be that low because Icy hadn’t spilled the backup plan the trix and the winx had, although really that wouldn’t have changed Darius' mind about facing his feelings because he has spent so many years bottling up and putting his feelings on the backburner that he can hardly recognize what he feels until it slaps him in the face. Similarly, Icy has been backstabbed so many times that she severely underestimates how important she is to other people, so she goes about feelings downplaying them until she's slapped in the face with the truth)

40. Who is the skilled shopper for holidays? Who always waits 'til the last minute to get all of their gifts? (Which one gets stressed out easily)?

Can you imagine a universe in which Darius isn’t the skilled shopper? Because I can't. Not that Icy is bad. Yes, she overthinks it to hell and back, but she never gets to the point of last minute, high stress shopping. Darius, however, has a little notepad with gift ideas sorted by occasion and recipient. The only thing that could stress him out is the thing he settled for being permanently out of stock.

Finally I defeated the stereotype. I am no longer one of the people who listen to songs and imagine animating characters to said songs, but never doing it! I did it!
