💕 How did they both realize “oh wait, this is actually love”?
For Rhiannon, it was after a particularly rough battle where Alistair got pretty badly hurt. It all turned out and he was able to recover well enough, but there was a moment where Rhiannon really realized how much the thought of losing him, of not having him in her life anymore, would hurt her. Why would it hurt so badly? Could it be because she... loved him? Ah.
For Alistair I don't think it was anything so dramatic. They were both enjoying some downtime at camp, chatting and joking and making each other laugh, and there was a moment when he looked her giggling face and heard her laughing at some stupid joke he'd made, where he forgot about the Blight, the Treaties, the Everything. It was just him and her, and he loved her.
☕ Who’s the morning person & how do they lure the night owl out of bed?
Neither are "morning people" exactly, but of the two of them Rhiannon is definitely more prone to oversleeping. Usually she doesn't mean to sleep so long, so if Alistair wakes up before her, he tries to wake her gently, by doing things like opening the shades or kissing her on the cheek, which she appreciates. There was only one instance in which her sleep was being really stubborn, and Alistair basically had to rip off the covers before she finally woke up in a (very cross) daze.
😳 What’s the most embarrassing thing they’ve walked in on the other doing?
Not something she was actively doing per se, but when they were in the Denerim Alienage before the Landsmeet, they briefly stopped by Cyrion's house, and Alistair stumbled upon some of Rhiannon's childhood things, including a very amateur drawing of King Maric. He thought it was cute but she was MORTIFIED, especially now knowing that Maric is Alistair's father 🫠
🎂 How do they celebrate each other’s birthdays?
Rhiannon likes to celebrate her birthday with her family on the years that they're in the area, and Alistair has been warmly welcomed into the Tabris family so he has no objections. Either way, he usually cooks her favorite dinner for her, and if they're in a town, they go and see a play 🎭
Every birthday celebration Rhiannon has for Alistair's birthday is a little bit different; it usually surrounds whatever gift she got him, which she always puts a LOT of thought into. Once, she got him a glass-blown statuette of a griffon, and they got to watch as the glass blower created it for him. Another time, she arranged for his favorite of the Warden horses to be given to him as his personal horse, and they spent the day riding and enjoying the outdoors 🌸
