Lav: Ate Din, ano ‘yung AAF?

Me: *I know in my mind it sounds familiar... when I recognized it, I instantly hugged Lav and squealed*

aAaAaAhHhHh! Lavenia got the position!

I can only remember those days when Jojo and Lav were fighting about the position, not because they’d like to win over each other, but because they both feel like the other one is more deserving. But, boy, I was there to impose the friendly competition upon them and push them to just do it and give their best shot.

Fast forward to a few days later, Jojo finally decided to not pursue the position, as Microsoft will be going commissions to associates working for them. 

After Lavenia’s interview, she sent me voice messages on Messenger to tell me how the interview went, ‘cause I was on PTO soon that same day. She was not satisfied with her performance and had almost conceded to loss over other candidates, should there be any.

BUT, GIRL, HERE YOU ARE TODAY, smiling while on the verge of crying. I will never forget the look of disbelief in your face as you let your inhibitions fade. You deserve this ‘cause you’ve been nothing short of enthusiastic and passionate in everything you contribute, may it be to the team or to your work.
