The Sweeties (Short Film)
When you think of some of the most famous girl groups in the 1960s, groups like The Supremes, Dreamgirls, & Gladys Knight & The Pips may come in mind. People seem to forget about three young women from Detroit who ran off to Los Angeles to perform on the countries biggest television show, The Jerry Fitzgerald Show. Well, here is a piece of their story.
As long as she could remember, Patsy has always dreamed of performing on big stages and wearing beautiful gowns. There is truly nothing in this world that she wants more of. With the help of two of her childhood friends, Janet and Brenda, the three girls create the group, The Sweeties, and take a bus across the country for the chance of a lifetime.
