It's a Littles Lavie post! Our Lavie Binks Gaga has always been little, and she still can climb and jump higher than both of her padres. She has the sweetest personality and I don't think she has a mean bone in her body. Though very much a scaredy cat, she is loving and is definitely the third child. She learned from her Edward how to use her voice and it's so squeaky and tiny. I've never heard her hiss or growl, and she can almost crawl up my body when she wants to be held. She nests herself anywhere as long as she has all her dark lil paws on 'firm footing' and has been known to fall asleep right on my crotch. She also fell asleep purring while I was holding her shortly after snapping these photos. I love her so very much. Me and lavie...Lavie came to us on Halloween 2018. I did not want another cat. Tom found her roaming the garbage cans at Cheekwood at a mere 4 weeks old. So, around this time of the year last year, her mother was preparing to have her. I've never thought of an animal as my child (in fact I hate the term 'fur baby'), but Lavie is definitely a labor of love and wildness. She will eat anything. She is curious and the smallest of my trio of felines. She will forever be confused about her name because the kids and Tom call her Binks because Tom wanted to name her Thackery Binks after the cat in Hocus Pocus. I had just viewed the newest remake of A Star Is Born (three times in the theater) and was obsessed with #lavieenrose. Our Lavie Binks Rosie Gambill is a treasure and is very smart. She is the culmination of my rainbow of blended families, the struggles of daily life, and the beauty that lies in the trash cans of the world. We love you #laviebinks ! Every morning, we do affirmations in the mirror. I pick up each one. Bootsie loves to be held and she has always wanted to sit on my shoulder. Littles Lavie is a wild child and barely can sit still. Edward is so big and long, he has trouble trusting being over the shoulder, but he is also a plopper, so we just work with it.
