WiP - Wig for young Past!Lavi (Lavy)
New doll means lots of new crafts! Starting with the wig here. I have to say I was working on several things at once for him as curing times are just so darn long and you better use it well.
The wig cap was almost transluent this time, very interesting. But once I add more wefts and glue it will get more opaque.
I have to say the parting was a big difficult this time. I am more used to do mirrored partings, but with basically no parting just hair being everywhere for Lavi it was hard to figure out what to do here.
I am not really happy how it turned out but as the wig is very white you can't really spot what bothers me.
After a night of drying I went on cut and styled the wig. The braid was refusing to work at first and i tried to mimic the cut he has going on, usually I don't do 'straight' cuts I am more for natural looking hair. This called for a more straight cut though.
I secured the braids with thread, hold better and longer than any hairband and is way slimmer.
So here is the final wig, looks a bit weird from some angles as I was refusing to put it onto the body yet as white hair and black cloth aren't best friends.
