"c'mon," dustin says, sliding another shot across the table towards jim. "one more round."

"you said that after the last round," jim sighs. he pushes the shot glass back towards dustin. "i need to go into the office tomorrow morning, c'mon."

"tomorrow's saturday." dustin slides it back towards jim again. "you don't need to go in. you're just a workaholic."

jim eyes the shot. he doesn't push it back this time. "i left work early today to make it to the show," he protests. "i just wanna make sure i'm all caught up on everything for monday."

"who cares?" dustin says bluntly. "you're not going to be working there forever. soon you're going to be wrestling full time. with me." he makes deliberate eye contact with jim as he nudges his leg against jim's under the table, dragging his ankle against jim's calf. it's more intimate than anything he'd usually usually do in public. jim's eyes go wide, and he licks his bottom lip. dustin knows he's got him now.

jim lifts the shot to his lips and downs it, sliding the empty glass back towards dustin.

"fine," he says, smiling in spite of himself. "go get us another another round, then."

I saw your comment on that post about men's fashion and i love your style!!! I was wondering if you'd share where you buy your pants? I love high rise ish pants but i find it so difficult to find them in a more masculine silhouette. Thanks 🌟

thank you! i mostly shop for my pants online because i'm notoriously picky about how they look/fit and it's difficult to find them not almost exclusively low-rise in most stores.

that being said if you'd like specific recommendations for good, mid-rise jeans you can find online, i suggest Wrangler's 13MWZ cowboy cut (these were the blue jeans i was wearing in the post!) or Levi's 501 original cut. for slacks, i just wear Docker's classic fit pants (the green slacks in the same post) because that waistband goes right up to my belly button where i like it. many men's slacks suffer from the same low-rise curse, but Docker's has some pretty good, affordable high-rise work pants/slacks if that interests you.

ok i know everybody's saying "oh nick would make a good killer" but consider: matt would make a great plot-twist killer for the same reason he's a mean girl. he's got big eyes. he's great at faking sympathy. he's trying so hard to survive even as he's freaking out -- but then it's him with the knife 😈

meanwhile, nick for final girl: he's practical, smart, good at planning strategies (e.g. matches). He and Kenny try (and fail) to discover the killer as kenny gets more and more hysterical and matt keeps going missing...

i'm always a sucker for no one expecting matt because he is so good at keeping up appearances. jennifer's body au matt 😍

for all the reasons above, i agree with you a hundred percent about nick. not only that, but i also feel like he has more of a final girl vibe because (not as a heel obviously) but the way he presents himself, and how he dresses is more likely to blend into the background. like i'm picturing early bte soft hoodie nick. idk how to explain it well?

anyway i think that would make a hell of a story.

right now i'm just trying to put together a tournament. but i feel like people might get pissed if i try to put matt into the killer category.
