Thin fingers toy with the rim of his glass, pointed features EXPRESSIONLESS as he’s lost within the confines of his own mind. After all, it wasn’t like there was anything BETTER to do in this town, & he was more BORED than anything at this point. His book was all but forgotten, & a sigh escapes past parted lips before gaze lifts from, focusing on the girl as she brings someone their order at a nearby table. But as she walks past, a hand reaches out to STOP her, & he offers a small smile at the obvious intrusion.

        His recently acquired  Ford V8  sat patiently outside the uninhibited house,  Stefan on the other hand --- not so patient.  They say that time flies when you’re having fun but when you’re waiting on a lady time has a way of rolling through seconds slower than a turbine on a breezeless afternoon.    He’d done what he could with the dissolute home;  removed the majority of weeds that had sprouted curiously from the kitchen sink,  swathed a blanket across the baron floorboards and lit not one,  but three lanterns.  IT WAS NO PALACE,  no king would sit atop a thrown anywhere in this godforsaken building but for them  ---  PERFECT.
