Chloe finally got recognized and promoted after her maternity break. She was growing more popular, but her distinct features only landed her very specific roles in TV shows.

She didn't expect to find company at home, especially not made out of Diego's employees. It didn't seem like a fun gathering and since he never really invited people from work, she figured something's going on with the business.

The other two finally left and Diego explained to his wife his decision to sell the club and start from scratch. At first she jumped at him for taking such risks just as their child was born and they needed a stable situation. However, he reassured her it's mainly to cut ties with the Landgraabs and become more financially independent from them. He buttered her up by mentioning his new business idea revolves around her and "Chloe's Corner" is going to bring profits to both of them.

Suddenly selling the club meant Diego had to deal with his employees and explain the situation to them. He invited his bartender and DJ for lunch, so the news would go down smoother.

Blake wasn't particularly bothered about the sudden change. He still preferred to work as a freelance DJ and now that the contract was off, he could go back to playing wherever and whenever he wanted. Laurence, however, was not thrilled about having to find another job.

Now that he had a girlfriend and her son to support financially, he didn't want to go unemployed or go back to flipping burgers in Red’s Famous ’50s Diner. Diego wasn't that much of an asshole and promised to help him get another good bartending job Downtown. He still had some contacts there and could pass really good recommendations.

When she managed to calm Howard down and distract him with toys, she went upstairs to visit her friend. She needed to vent to someone after her ugly divorce.

She still wasn't sure if it was because Lawrence was a bartender and a great listener, but he immediately managed to calm her down. It felt easier to deal with the grief with someone by her side, especially when her friends were all so far away and living happily with their families.

She offered Lawrence a deal, knowing paying the whole rent by herself was going to be a pain in the ass. Since he was also paying for his whole apartment by himself, she offered him to move in with her and Howie, so they can split their bills and keep each other company.

The week at the Pleasant Loste household was thankfully ending on a nice note. Kristen had her coworkers reaching out to her and offering help after hearing about her nasty divorce. Lowering the rent was definitely going to be helpful.

Lawrence also managed to negotiate a higher wage after all and ended up becoming the Bar Manager. It seems like Diego made the bold decision to hire more people to help with the club and Lawrence wouldn't have to stand behind the bar at all times.

And so - the week at this messy household ends. The fourth rotation is finally over and after a short university intermission, the hood will proceed to the fifth one. Next time, the former uni students will go through their final exams and the next batch will arrive.

Even knowing it's way too soon for serious declarations, Lawrence already knew he wants to spend the rest of his life with Kristen. He was a sweet fool in love, admiring how strong and beautiful she is.

He wasn't going to rush things and ruin what's between them, though. He just wanted to confirm there's actually more than just friendship going on.

Lawrence: I know you've only just got divorced and the wounds are super fresh, but maybe you'd like to actually go steady with me?

Kristen: Silly, I thought we've already been going steady?

Lawrence: Well, I didn't want to assume things just because we kiss and woohoo...

She didn't want to get ahead of herself after being scarred by her previous relationship, but Kristen could already feel things were going so much different. Maybe the bar was low thanks to Daniel, but it felt incredible to have someone make the move and put an effort.

Lawrence tried to discuss with his boss, that he needs more money now. He didn't want to go into details, but he believed he can earn more as a solo bartender in the exclusive Downtown club. Diego wasn't thrilled about paying him much more for shaking few drinks and chatting with patrons.

Kristen was truly amazed how familial the meals now felt, when everyone was chatting and enjoying each other's presence at the table. No more grouchy man with a midlife crisis flashing his boxers at everyone.

Kristen felt like she could finally sit down and relax for a little bit, not worrying about the atmosphere around the place. Lawrence kept her company while trying to study for work. He really hoped to contribute more to the household finances, without having to change his career paths. He really enjoyed bartending.

Maybe it was a little too bold to snuggle right next to Howard so soon after the divorce, but he didn't seem to care about it at all. He was more absorbed by his animal shows and if his mom was finally happy, then it was fine with him.

Kristen didn't want to cut Howie's contact with his father, but Daniel was doing a great job already ghosting all of them anyway. She let her son bother aunt Jennifer and try to get Daniel's phone number from her, but according to her he just left without a word after being kicked out by them.

Kristen thought some workout could help Howard with the stress and allowed him to use her gym equipment. He was not as much into fitness as his mom, but punching a bag while thinking about his father was somewhat cathartic.

He also immediately decided to learn about human body some more. He didn't care about sports, but he found biology interesting.
