I just got some tickets to go see Gowan on his 40th anniversary tour! I’m just a beginner fan so I feel a little fake because there’s so much I won’t know, but I’m taking my mom, who would’ve been 20 when all these songs were coming out, so I’m looking forward to it.

Sorry fellow fan, just seeing this now! I hope your experience is/was great. All I started with was his Greatest Hits album and Strange Animal album and went outwards from there. Don't feel any lesser-than because youre just a fan starting out. This fandom is and will always be one of the more welcoming ones. I got a bit too curious after prompting AI to enhance a photo, then I got it to make a pinup version of said photo, then asked a different bot to take it a bit further(short of nudity - I ain't going that far) and I don't know if I should share those to the public because it's got me all

Context:

I have the itch to paint on canvas again and I'm going to use a photo of Gowan as reference (that I've painted before, but I have since sharpened my skills and want to try a crack at a bigger canvas), so I asked a certain bot to upscale and enhance that photo, so then I ended up with this:

Which, I'll admit, can be a pinup in of itself, but I wanted to see if the same bot can make it into a modern day magazine pinup(because: curious) and I ended up with 2 versions of that photo. One with magazine titling and one without.

THEN:

I went to a 2nd bot(cuz I ran out of free image tokens for today lol) and asked it to take it a step further and it spat out a version of the previous bot's pinup with an open shirt, necklace, abs, bedroom eyes, and a mouth halfway open, sighing.

Then I just threw my whole self away because I don't think of him that way and now I'm clutching my collar thinking "what the hell have I done...."

So,

If y'all want to see the 3 photos the bots threw at my now confused hormones - let me know in the replies and I will make a new post and pray that LG doesn't see it anytime soon.....

I know I'm normally anti-AI, but I needed the IG photo enhanced for reference - the rest was my stupid curiosity lol

GOOD THINGS EVERYONE!

Got my hands last week on the new Limited Edition ™️ version of the Gowan: A Criminal Mind comic that I did the artwork/linework on! (came in the mail this Monday) Cannot thank Gowan enough for the opportunity back in 2019!!!

I hope the Rock Paper Merch site is back up soon so you guys are able to nab a copy of your own. But for now, they are available at the merch table at all Gowan shows(and possibly Styx shows - I have to confirm that one) so maybe ask one of your Canadian buddies to nab you one too when they go see a show 😉

Also: A gift came with my comic book package! A limited edition of Gowan 's Strange Animal album on picture disc vinyl(and signed by the man himself!)

And I won't spoil the updated insides past the first page with the credits - however, I posted more of a peek on my insta(same user @ as here), if you want to check that out and don’t care about spoilers.
