I finished recording an album this week... I want to thank everyone that added to this body of work, musically, visually or just being in the studio present.
All your talents and contributions have created something that fully embodies what this year has been for me. Y’all built the foundation for me to express all my passions, fears and anxieties. The foundation for me to mourn my past self but also celebrate all the ways I love. I can’t say when you’ll hear it but when you do it’ll be louder and reach further than anything I’ve ever done..... 💿🌐

Written and Directed by Lawrence Matthews "The Hub" follows the narrative of a young man recently let go from his low paying warehouse job while he spends his summer navigating the Memphis job and transportation crisis, among his own personal issues. The film is tied together with interviews from young black men who have had to work through similar issues searching for jobs in the cities current climate.
Starring Martin Matthews, Najee King Strickland and Los Whitmore.
Featuring Interviews by Ladarius Matthews, Jarvis Johnson, Dame Mufasa and Michael Bowen.
