"Does nearly wolfing out in class really count as a good job?" Layla was bent over in an empty classroom trying to catch her breath and calm herself down. One minute she was listening to the pounding of her heart when she found out she forgot about a test they were taking that day and then the next her claws were digging into the desk. She was grateful for Scott being there to help her escape. She took one more deep breath and stood herself up straight, looking at him. "Thanks..."
