✨ BOOK REVIEW ✨
They Never Learn by Layne Fargo

This was a fantastic concept but for me, the end result was a bit lacklustre.
I LOVE the idea of a woman who kills men who abuse women. That’s just…so freaking cool. Like Dexter but even better cos she’s a woman protecting women, y’know?
But I found Scarlett as a character incredibly bland, and that left me just finding the whole story a bit bland, too. I loved the ending and there were definitely moments throughout that I liked, but overall I just expected more from this than I got.

"oh, they loved the attention. well, kat did anyway. and whatever kat loved, heath at least pretended to love too."
“There are lots of different kinds of love. Love like a steady, warming campfire that keeps you alive in the cold. Love like a raging blaze that burns down everything in its path until nothing but ash remains.”
