here's a rough draft of the au, do note that the au changed a bit this is a bit of an old version of the au. some parts are still correct others outdated. will work on it along with the list of other stuff i wanna do. also doin an animation with au yippe so expect that later.

The base idea is that Layton and Luke went to visit Phoenix, Maya, Pearl and met Trucy, Apollo and Athena. Layton had heard about Trucy, Apollo and Athena via the many hours talking to Phoenix on cell. Now finally being able to meet Phoenix's new friends and see how things have been. Layton and Luke are at the airport waiting for Phoenix, Luke excited to see maya and phoenix again and to meet the others. Phoenix arrives with Edgeworth and Maya. Edgeworth drove them there out of pity; also because the airport is very far and walking there and back will take most of the day.
In the car ride, Luke and Maya chat about their adventures and what they've been doing. While the two talked, Layton asked which hotel would be good to stay at, Phoenix told him that he and Luke can stay at his home. Layton told him he doesn’t have too but Phoenix insisted. Layton gives Phoenix a warm smile and a thank you.
His smile stunned Phoenix. He shyly smiles and scratches the back of his neck saying it’s not a big deal. Edgeworth chuckled softly
So, Layton and Luke meet the others and spend time together. Layton was with Phoenix and Edgeworth noticed them. They seem to really enjoy each other's company. He takes a mental note and leaves the others to tell him later.
Later through the week phoenix, maya, layton, pearl, and luke meets three other characters (ocs) at a gala that Edgeworth invited them to.
Layton went to get a drink till he heard something and went to investigate. Later in the night, Luke went looking for Layton and found a dead body and Layton's top hat with blood on it. He screams, gumshoe, phoenix, and edgeworth when there to check what’s going on. Phoenix is horrified it’s happening again isn't it what happened to maya all those years ago

Now they need to find Layton, meanwhile Layton and this oc are tied up and stuck with the killer. The killer calls for someone from what layton gathers. The killer is a hitman; and they and the customer aren't the brightest doing many things that will get them caught. He heard the hitman and the customer talking to each other figuring out what to do. they are in the crossfire. Layton hope that phoenix and the others will come and save them before it’s too late
