Remember this upload where I tried to find the correct colours and vibes for this pretty Lady? Well vibes and colours were found. I knew I had some muted inks in my collection to hit the colours like I wanted them to.

Meet my darling Tyche, barista and photo model on the side. Childhood friend of Odette, Ale, Odilia and Leda. Not into dancing as much as them but she does rollerdance as a hobby. (she gets my roller skates - those have a ranbow design on 'em so they fit her perfectly lol) She is all vibes and chill.

So in this we have aqua markers, copics, washi-tape, stamps white gel pen as usual, phrases are cut and glued on… Wanted to play around a bit u feel me. And I felt like drawing Odilia >d

I am rather proud how the washi-tape on the dress turned out bc you almost can't see the seams where I connected the strips.

Also I layered multiple stamps for the bg very carefully to get a bit of gritty grungy vibes in and it came out so well I am so proud of this one bc it was fun experimentation with multiple things and I wanna mess around with more things. Like I know I have my voice as an artist and all but I wanna do more push it more with different media mixed together.

Fun Fun fact; Bicolour Parrotfish come in 3 phases: Juvenile (white & orange) babys Initial: (dark purple, black, yellow) females Terminal: (colourful) males

so basically Odilia colour-shifted twice and had one complimentary sex change (their gender did not change, still nb and goes by they/she)

Odilias parents went like this: Mom -> cis-girl (i) -> trans woman (t) Dad -> trans boy (i) -> cis-man (t) Both are colourful af of course.

Yeah so the fish-people are fun to work with, always good for some colour, gender - or in this case: sex - fuckery.

The first pic I did of her in mono was more like figuring out some basic shapes, get the idea down yannow? This one? This one is telling me who she is, the vibes - and the vibe is D i v a. Clearly. I adore her so much. enjoy Odette <3

And yeh on this one we have some aqua markers I put on foil & dabbed on the paper after spritzing it with some water, stamps (I adore my stamps so much they are so much fun) and Odette I drew on a different paper, cut her out and glued her on the bg after. The dress is, like with Odilia, washi-tape

So Odette is a sea buttferly, which is a underwater snail and their feet have developed into two parts that make it look like a snail shell with wings, hence the name. Those animals are technically translucent but like hell imma do that to myself drawing a translucent character, the sheer logistics.

But I also read that their shells are a wee bit calcified - not much since still translucent but like.. that gave me the idea for making her orange tinted all over. The headshell is a bit more solid, I imagine infants of her species are just.. a bit translucent and very soft shelled you know, like the soft spot on a human babies head but it is just their whole head until the shell calcifies more and thus becomes solid and no longer see through. Something like that. Anyway… behold my pretty Diva giving you a dramatic hair flip with the flapp-flapps.

That was roughly after her new reference sheet dropped at that time and had me stray my hand from taking a break from art do do different art because I could not resist drawing her.

Zuri is chefskiss then again all of my homies OCs are perfections and I am weak to them. Very much so. This lady belongs to wildfanq <3
