This was not the way Abigail Bellweather’s first hand-fasting was supposed to be.
After Charvel’s hand-fasting and subsequent murder, she had adjusted her expectations to something far less grandiose; while she hoped the Spree would be a non-issue by the time of her hand-fasting, she knew better than to make a target of herself. Of course, Abigail hadn’t expected to be hand-fasted so soon after Charvel.
She certainly hadn’t expected to be hand-fasted to a shitbird.
At least it was to her shitbird. That had to count for something.
