I might re-read this story and give it another chance. The more I think about it, the more I seem to like the story as a whole even though my first opinion of it was it's a good story, but not to my tastes.

I'm also thinking of ending my video experiment because it's falling flat as expected, but I didn't anticipate how disappointed I'd be. I'll try something else later.

The top one really is a stylized version of the demisexual flag, but the bottom one is just meaningless and simply nice to look at. I crocheted the top one as a wristband already and it turned out really cute. I got tired, so I didn't do the second version I had in mind so I'm just drawing it as a reference for later.

By all means take inspiration from my idea and run with it if you'd like. Even improve on it.

I didn't realize it at first, but the grey and white bands on the flag one are reversed. Just keep that in mind if you decide to copy my design.

Someday, I want to wear this ring

Not for pride, but because birds of a feather and all that. I want it to attract others like me just to be friendly and strike up a conversation. If I happen to be busy, I might forget to say anything and of course one doesn't bring up sexuality or the lack of it in a normal conversation. And...it's about dating too. I just really need to be friends first for a long time.

I didn't figure out I was demisexual until late last year. Always had been to one degree or another and didn't know that there was anything different about me. It was just my normal.

Fucking corrupt politics. Every step forward is being dragged backward 50 or more years. Why? I get to hear about it every day...possibly a little scrambled up because my mom can't always keep her stories entirely strait.

I find myself knowing I need to stay informed but hiding anyway like a coward because I'm already depressed. I'm still picking up some news in bits from actual news sources. It's not much, but it's better than nothing. I just find the sight and sound of Trump utterly repulsive...and his actions as well are repugnant and offensive...downright monstrous really.

As for the ring...well there is one downside. People seeing it and understanding the colors will probably automatically think I'm gay. I'm not.

Sadly, I once accidentally said on a dating site that I was looking for a woman to date and I got more responses from them than I got from men. And the one that responded wanted a woman who liked artifice and that wasn't me. I'd rather spend my money on books and art supplies than makeup. That's me.
