Hey I had a question! So my brother (14) wants to read a dragon book, as in a book where the main character is a dragon not dragon sidekick or a very cool pet/way to travel, and while I search I thought i'd ask you and see if you had any recs??? Thanks!
i can understand your brother completely, honestly. the only book that comes to mind that fits your criteria exactly is Dragon Rider by Cornelia Funke. I would also recommend Seraphina by Rachel Hartman. There’s also The Fire Within by Chris D’Lacey, though the dragons are side characters in that one. Dealing With Dragons by Patricia Wrede is also a series where dragons feature heavily as their own characters, though again they’re not the main ones.
I haven’t read Dragon Champion by E.E. Knight personally, so I can’t attest to the quality, but it seems that it is from the perspective of a dragon.
