How He Acts When He's Jealous

Wei’s not used to this— this jealousy that blossoms within his chest when he sees you laugh and smile at another person.

It's not right of him to feel this way, he knows this. He should be happy that you're happy, he should like the person that makes you laugh and smile so. But all he feels is an ugly feeling that festers deep inside his being. It takes all his strength not to glare down the person standing beside you, takes all his willpower not to make his unreasonable dislike of them obvious.

Wei has went through something similar with Xichun before so it's not like he's completely unaware or lost on how to deal with this situation. But his jealousy was never this extreme before.

He does his best to stay calm and hide his annoyance for you. You deserve so much better, after all. However, if someone dares to make you the slightest bit uncomfortable then he can't promise that he won't do something foolish.
