             The warmth in the air and the gentle breeze was enough to the wolf-kissed wish to travel further into the grassy planes. Eivor must admit, they quite enjoy the green pastures that surround all of Mondstadt. The land was beyond beautiful, and they welcomed it greatly despite being born on the icy mountains and snowy ground of dragonspine. Though as they sit at their camp, they heard foot steps around their place. Furrowing eyebrows, they took their axe out and prepared to use it until they caught gaze with the stranger lingering near their camp. One with an eyepatch and much taller than them.                            ❝... You have been lingering here for quite some time. What are you doing here?❞

|| Albedo blinked slowly at Kaeya, a lazy, warm smile gracing his features. “I suppose there are benefits to indulging in some social functions every once in awhile.” He said airily. Was that some sort of sarcastic smugness in his tone? It must be. But his expression betrayed nothing.

He batted away Kaeya’s hand with the edge of his fork, pulling the cake closer to him protectively.

“The flaws of such interactions lies in the fact that my sweets remain hapless victims to thieves and plunderers.” In that same sort of playfulness he cruelly- almost torturously- slowly sunk his fork into the soft sponge cake and took a bite directly in front of his fellow captain.

And most certainly this time, the alchemist had a smug grin curled around the metal tines. ||

she   hadn’t   really   expected   herself   to   be   found   this   quickly.   hands   aggressively   wipe   at   her   face.   oz   —   burrowed   into   her   lap   in   the   meek   attempt   at   comfort.   the   single   eye   that   was   revealed   looked   up   at   the   knight   with   an   unsure   demeanor.  

an   attempt   at   nodding,   though   any   attempt   to   quell   the   feeling   in   her   chest   would   simply   bring   more   tears   upon   her.
