          and   a   good   impression   is   what   he   earned.   many   don’t   seem   to   match   her   with   the   energy   of   her   character   —   so   when   kazuha   leaned   fully   into   it,   a   spark   that   had   not   been   there   before   shine   quite   brightly.  

          lips   curl   upward,   and   fischl   settles   her   hand   at   her   sternum,   holding   a   quite   proud   standing   position.  

          “   ah,   someone   who   is   educated   of   the   world.   “   a   hum,   and   she   contemplate   the   inquiry.

          the   silence   quietly   spreads   out   before   them,   and   she   will   simply   burrow   her   head   further   into   her   knees.   exhaustion   pulling   the   young   girl’s   shoulders   down.   as   if   the   hatred   of   the   world   was   gripping   tight   and   pushing   down   with   all   it’s   might.  

          oz   would   not   seem   to   be   bothered   by   the   knight’s   approach,   simply   glancing   at   him   with   a   curious   but   concerned   look,   as   if   daring   the   one   of   ice   to   hurt   her   more   than   she   was.  

          the   question   was   simply   mulled   over   for   a   moment   before   she   peeks   upward,   feeling   far   more   like   a   child   than   she   would   like   to   admit. 

          “   ...   stay   here   ?   talk   with   me   a   little   ...   “   something   to   distract   from   the   words   overheard,   sneers   in   the   tone   of   fellow   adventurers.

a   very   very   fancy   way   of   saying   that   if   paimon   needed   assistance   in   the   way   of   math,   she   would   be   happy   to   tutor   her.

she   hadn’t   really   expected   herself   to   be   found   this   quickly.   hands   aggressively   wipe   at   her   face.   oz   —   burrowed   into   her   lap   in   the   meek   attempt   at   comfort.   the   single   eye   that   was   revealed   looked   up   at   the   knight   with   an   unsure   demeanor.  

an   attempt   at   nodding,   though   any   attempt   to   quell   the   feeling   in   her   chest   would   simply   bring   more   tears   upon   her.

His playful tone drops down lower, dipping into something sinister as he summons a Hydro blade from his palm. He whirls it with a flourish, snapping it out straight at his side at the end.

eyes   widen   slightly,   surprised   that   the   other   would   catch   up   and   fall   into   the   roleplay   so   easily.   the   smile   now,   was   less   putting   on   fronts   and   more   excitable.   watching   the   other   with   a   grin,   hand   settling   at   her   collarbone.  

“   tis   not   difficult,   though   i   must   provide   you   death   bringer,   that   no   one   has   caught   on   to   my   royal   blood   line   so   quickly.   intelligence   must   be   your   forte.   “   oz,   seems   more   concerned   over   the   growing   fight,   yet   fischl   seemed   more   pleased   that   this   would   be   something   more   entertaining,   and   less   weird   looks.  

watching   the   hydro   blade,   fischl   summons   her   own   bow.   watching   quietly   for   a   moment.   fischl   didn’t   want   to   be   the   one   to   make   the   first   attack,   given   that   that   could   be   seen   lowly   upon   those   that   came   from   the   adventurer   guild   if   the   harbinger   was   just   bluffing,   plus   oz   could   easily   notify   her   when   he   started   to   move.   she   was   known   for   her   quick   bow   work,   after   all.  

it   was,   confusing.   she   wasn’t   sure   how   much   was   roleplay   and   how   much   was   actual   threat,   however   ...   she   couldn’t   help   the   slight   elation   that   she   had,   when   someone   played   along.

Amber gave a confident smile at first, her hand going to the top of her head in a salute like manner. Understanding that they wish to be accompanied with. If they’ve requested her assistance, then as a Knight, she’s got no issue with it, and can hardly refuse such.

“You can count me in! Lead the way, and I’ll accompany you!”

Amber checked over herself for a moment, as if she was making sure that she had everything needed to venture out of Mondstadt. Always double check before you do such!

          watching   the   motion,   fischl   leans   back   —   arms   folded   in   front   of   her   as   she   begins   to   walk   outside   of   the   gates   of   mondstadt   once   the   outrider   has   confirmed   that   she   was   prepared,   oz   sweeps   back   and   forth   at   her   shoulder,   watching   quietly   before   seeming   to   narrow   down   on   what   seemed   to   be   a   god   bunch   of   trees.  

          stepping   forward,   fischl   would   hop   up,   attempting   to   grab   one   of   the   fruits,   only   for   oz   to   sweep   over   and   beat   it   down   with   his   wings.  

          “   you   must   be   honored   to   be   able   to   attend   such   an   outing   with   such   as   i   !   it   is   a   rare   opportunity,   to   be   able   to   gather   such   earthly   delights   with   one   of   such   shadowed   being.   “   a   grin,   eyes   flickering   toward   amber.

…Harbingers of Death? A bit dramatic, but it’s apt enough that Childe won’t refute the title. An amused smile spreads across his face as he sizes up his challenger for the day: A teenage girl wearing the most eccentric outfit he’s seen in a long time. She puts on a good show, he thinks. Passable enough for the stage and spotlight. Any audience would adore it.

It’s just not quite enough to scare off a true enemy. A distinct lack of killing intent, or one weak enough that his own survival instincts don’t even register it. Undeterred, he keeps true to his path and slowly approaches with his hands in his pockets.

“Oho? My reputation precedes me, it seems! Though I have to say…” He stops a scant few yards in front of her, scrutinizing her display of elementary mastery with interest. Young as she seems, not just anyone is given a Vision. “…I haven’t heard of you. In fact, Mondstadt is the land without monarchs, is it not?”

         fischl   is   not   one   to   give   up   so   easily,   despite   the   slight   nerves   that   situate   in   her   chest   and   refuse   to   come   loose.   eyes   stare   at   the   other,   oz   watching   the   harbinger   for   any   acts   taken   against   his   master.   taking   off   from   her   arm,   he   floats   slightly   in   front   of   her,   as   her   hands   settle   at   her   hips.  

        ❝    tis   no   surprise   !   as   i   do   not   reign   over   the   land   of   freedom,   no   —   i   reign   from   a   land   that   the   true   name   of   would   strike   you   where   you   stood.   another   world,   far   from   where   your   vision   would   allow   you   to   see   !   ❞

        a   smirk   appears   on   her   features,   ❝    however   !   i   am   one   of   such   that   protects   said   land   of   freedom   from   the   likes   of   those   who   wish   to   shackle   its   sweet   ways   with   the   chains   of   cruelty   !   now,   are   you   the   chain   bearer,   mysterious   figure   ?   ❞    a   raise   of   an   eyebrow,   a   chuckle   to   her   words.

          she   was   never   truly   alone,   with   oz   at   her   side.   thankfully,   he   was   able   to   keep   her   protected   from   quite   a   few   of   the   flames   shot   her   way.   adjusting   her   bow,   she   rotates   her   shoulder   —   as   if   to   fix   an   ache   there.  

          a   seconds   thought,   before   she   shakes   her   head.
