special ability cut-in for my hundred line last defense academy OC (yes i copied the exact wording of oomf 😓) -- YUZUKI HADA! (they/them) i didn't come prepped with a cool ability spiel bc i suck at strategy games and can't for the life of me make numbers and skills make sense 💀 i'm working through getting it figured out with friends though so maybe i'll make a post later abt it. their weapon is a kusarigama and that's all i can say for now i'm such a sucker for hard black n white shadows/lighting in art so i was itching to draw them in this style as soon as i finished their ref (speaking of, you can see their ref here. IF ANY OF YOU DRAW THEM PLEASE TAG/MENTION/PING ME WHATEVER IT'S CALLED - I'LL BE OVER THE MOON!!!!) i'm still ironing out personality deets but atm they grew up in a pretty well off family of avian veterinarians and talked to the birds that they took care of a lot. they were taught philosophy and morals by the birds and supposedly 'trained' by them as well but never specify what exactly the training was or what it was for. other tidbits include an impeccible memory, great eyesight, and the random bird fact flavor of autism

Finally bit the bullet and drew up a Hundred Line OC.

I'll draw up his Class Armor look later, but i still wanted a rough look for his weapons, a gauntlet and a sword. He doesn't like fighting but does so to get it over with.

I drew a special ability cut-in for my Hundred Line OC!

Skill & Ability Explanation:

As said before, Touki Kisabe's specialist skill of Special Forgery allows him to essentially copy the abilities of other hemoanima users. This triggers automatically at the start of each turn; you must pick a character to copy. Touki does a base damage regardless of the strength of the character (so you can't just copy Takumi and have two tanks lol, but you could say, copy Nozomi and do healing and more dmg w/ healing bullet). He does his copy passive by filling his fountain pen with the blood of the person he's choosing to copy, and then stabbing himself with the pen. Touki's special ability is to copy a chosen character's special ability; he does this by writing their name, like a forgery (though he still does a base dmg like his passive).

(This is all before his arc, which I'll go into in another post later!)

Peep the LDA oc, Rikuto Hashimato !! My friends have been making them and what could i do but make my own

Uhhhhh how do i ramble about ocs over text, basically Rikuto was an extremely shut in and isolated child from a well off family with issues with anxiety, which only got worse as they grew up. They grew up homeschooled, but what they lacked in social skills and friends, they sure made up for with music!

As bad as their nerves were, music has always helped calm them. They were especially taken with string interments, and violin was their favorite. Their parents were always very hands off so Rikuto was mainly taken care of by baby sitters and at home teachers.

Though, as soon as they turned 18, their parents pushed them out of their house and into an apartment, unaware of how their parenting had effected Rikutos mental health.

Rikuto has pretty bad agoraphobia and fears of getting hurt because of how coddled they were in childhood.

Their weapon is a kind of violin/bow hybrid!! Due to its build it sounds very grating, which can deal damage to enemies, as well as functioning as a bow and arrow as another attack. I dont have it coloured yet, but trust it will be eventually lmao

I plan to make them have an arc about facing fears and fighting for their morals but thats in the future for right now lmao

Its been a while sense ive made a cry baby oc and this felt like a fitting time. I rarely actually make fandom ocs but this was actually a lot of fun and i wanna keep experimenting with them !! Ive been lore dumping enough for the time being but i may continue in another post at some point :3

A boy, seemingly chipper and carefree at first glance. He claims to be a weak coward and a dumb loser yet he is brave enough to fight in the frontlines.

Due to a disorder, he experiences all pain tenfold than a regular human would, causing him to blank out moments after battle due to the intense pain.

Although it may seem like he's just as clueless as everyone else, he appears to know more than he lets on.

Specialist Skill: Special Comfort

Here's my Last Defense Academy OC, Kousei Noto!! He's a hypersomniac who gets overwhelmed by his own emotions, which causes instant exhaustion.

One of his gimmicks is falling asleep right as he's about to say something smart, since it takes a lot of brain power. He immediately forgets what he was talking about once he's awake again.

His second gimmick is that he's always asking if certain foods and/or beverages come in a supplement or pill form, as he's deficient in a lot of different vitamins and minerals, and he's always falling asleep in his food.

He's only super expressive when he's talking about something he cares about. Once you convince him to fight - to care about fighting - he kinda loses all logic on the battlefield, letting his anger and determination overwhelm him.

I might post battle voice lines I came up with for him, but it depends on how well this post does and how many people would wanna see more of him.
