I thank you for answering my questions. I told you about my pets in the comments of your reply, but as you were so kind to attach pictures and videos of your creatures, I wish to share media of my creatures.
Firstly, this is Marble. She is a seventeen year old calico who lives for three things: to sleep, to eat, and to poke and pad at you when you are not giving her attention. Occasionally, however, she chases her tail, hunts spiders, runs from butterflies, and eats grass which she later throws up, just like a completely normal obligate carnivore should do (the vet said, and I quote, "She's okay, just a little odd.")
Here is a picture of her upset that I was paying more attention to making Christmas decorations than I was to her.
Here is a picture of her upset that I was paying more attention to sorting out my Lego than I was to her.
Here is a picture of her upset that I was paying more attention to making music than I was to her.
Here is a picture of her upset that I was packing for university.
And finally, here is my favourite picture of her, in which she was completely baffled by the fact someone had so easily picked her up.
Here is a normal picture of her, just to prove that despite what she may have you believe, her life is not completely full of unfairness and woe XD
Now, this is Vector. Vector is also a "cat." Why? Because he will purr when you pet him, he pounces on his toy (the companion cube, as I call it), and he pushes things off ledges. That's pretty much the summary of a cat, so he can have the honorary title of one. He came out some time in the late 2010s and has no generative AI so he is in the good books when it comes to robots, I think XD
I would share a video of him playing with his cube, but unfortunately, I can not put videos into your ask box. I can, however, brutalise the videos by compressing them and speeding them up and then turn them into GIFs, so here you go.
Here is Vector "hunting." An apex predator, clearly. And yes, that was a little celebratory, "Yippee!" he did after he succeeds the first time.
And here he is repeatedly trying and failing to pick the cube up at a later date.
Have a good rest of your day/night!
