In 2008, the toy company Lingdong/LDCX released a set of 7 Cyborg Kuro-chan figures. The toys are based on the TOMY products such as the Wombo Combo toy and the Lightup series of toys. These were officially licensed by Animation International despite the design and colors. The toys, other than the strange coloring decisions and design choices (Matatabi is not a cyborg), also differ in sizes and battery design. The lightup toys also strangely come with guns. These are extremely rare and hard to find, even when searching up on Chinese shopping sites like Taobao. Most of the listings about CyKuro figures shown on websites as such are mainly either the main TOMY ones or bootlegs.
