i don't know how to classify this piece, because this was supposed to be a sketch without much thought, but I kind of went a bit too far in some places.

i also have trouble with even the slightest bit of shiny fabric, because i associate it with cheapness, inconvenience, crappy tailoring, etc., basically, with cheap clothes. but here it's the opposite: shiny silk is considered expensive. And it's just making me dizzy.

one more sketchy coloured portrait (could be better rendered) to «enhance graphics» and better understand how char looks like

Aghardur’lyn [oc], boy with half-shaved head that makes elders mad. he's name is written with «U» but i read it as «A» — «Aghardar'lyn». it sounds better. his name is a jumble of words and he stole it from the city archives to pretend to be an adult to unobservant elves. this name (cynic and cold assassin 👻) doesn't describe him at all 😅 he is impudent, stubborn and anxious. cynicism and coldness are not about him. Aghar himself doubts whether this is a name at all, and not a description of the criminal.

something that scared me when i finished drawing. he looks too much like me. and it's disgusting. he shouldn't be like that, but the image is already established 😭😭😭

Rua («star» in high elf) is Sol's childhood nickname. he was born and grown up in El'Ada (surface) so his nickname not drowish. he chose drowish adult name, Solnolu'nar «deft treasure spirit», because of his family story and his blood.

aaaand Sol doesn't know anything about Al'Shad (underground) cults. he's into human and high elf cult of Elrath (homm5 dragon of light, yeaaasssss, here we go) (i love homm5 sorry it's my early teens), forever young goddess of light and art, daughter of goddess of the sun, motherhood and fertility and god of wine.

i'm not good at drawing children. probably he's nose should be softer, without reference to it's adult shape. but well that sketch is still pretty hah
