Where is the celebrity face of LDN?  Oh, sorry, we have no money.

How did this begin today... I was looking for information about an inhaler one of my kids was prescribed for exercise induced asthma ( I know...) Proair made by TEVA Pharmaceuticals.  

Just a few paragraphs in on the factsheet TEVA states, "Once a medicine has been approved for marketing for a certain use, experience may show that it is also useful for other medical problems. Although these uses are not included in product labeling, [albuterol] is used in certain patients with the following medical condition:  Hyperkalemia (too much potassium in the blood)." ~i.e. “off label use” of Proair

One argument we hear against LDN is, “it’s off label,” but that criticism doesn’t apply to patented drugs? 

While I was enjoying the hypocrisy of Proair off label vs. LDN off label I came across the You Don’t Know Jack About MS, which made me angry because LDN has great success with MS, and ultimately led me back to the disappointing news that Demi Lovato also partnered with bigPharma.

I am having trouble swallowing pharmaceutical sponsored celebrity causes, when the corporations know damn well low dose naltrexone does everything their expensive patented drugs do, but better as LDN works to strengthen the immune system vs. having been designed to destroy disease.

Sidenote:  TEVA was the US manufacturer of Revia, ie. Naltrexone, in 2010 under their subsidiary Barr Laboratories.   It is the FDA approved drug which has to be compounded to make low dose naltrexone or LDN.  Have they suggested LDN to you Jack~being off label should not be an issue for TEVA, as shown above with their Proair product.

Another Sidenote:  The game “you don’t know Jack” was once a family favorite.

Sidenote:  From bipolar diagnosed to another, Demi, their drugs are very much not the solution.  I am sorry.  You have a wonderful message, I can’t get behind it because Sunoviun paid for it :(  PS.  bipolar should be a rare illness, but now even WebMD claims that is a myth, it will get darker still...

That's all it is, a medication.  It may work for a person, it may not.  It causes the least known harm with the most benefit for so many disease, it's hard to believe.   If it was used first, and actually helped heal, the burden on the medical community would be what?  Healthier patients?  Less relapse?  Less costly prescriptions? Less side effects?

LDN, not a miracle pill, not a magic bullet.   Learn the facts, search for critics.  Education is priceless:

The only negative I can find, in a TON of research that I continue to do, is two people in a 10,500 member group who reported taking LDN and after 3-5 years found, for them, it didn't keep working.  

1.  Research and Trials need funding to give a fair voice to those patients, and to those that take it longer with success.  It just needs to happen regardless, but it won't be funded by bigPharma.

2.  If I get 3-5 years without suicidal ideations, and they return?  That's 3-5 years I had relief, then I would go back to getting by like I have for the past 3-30 years... 

3.  If I got a diagnosis of an illness, like MS, and worst case was told "you may live 3-5 years without symptoms, but they could return," huh, what do you think I would do?  I would take the 3-5 years without symptoms because that seems like a blessing, not a miracle.

PS  you cannot become addicted to LDN.  It's not a happy pill.  It's immune therapy~which, if you research is becoming the new theory in treating cancers and other diseases, but when it comes from bigPharma it will have a price tag + side effects to match.  You are the consumer, you are in the drivers seat.

Check out the LDN Research Trust site for fact sheets, prescribing doctors and more information, and always look for critics, arguments against, the other side of the story, the flipside of the coin~education should be a messy process, not exactly linear.  If you only follow one road, you can only land at one destination.
