November was certainly a slow burner kind of a month, but December is finally upon us! That also means, of course, it’s time for a new writing task. With the days just gone for our American visitors, and the fast approaching holiday season in mind, our theme for this month will be Thankful.
It is as simple as it sounds, all we want you to do is write about something that your character is thankful for. It could be anything you choose; family, friends, newly found loved ones, even a long suffering family pet. Perhaps your character is dwelling on their career to date and how it's progressed over the years. Whatever you choose to focus on, we'd like to try and keep this months writing task positive! It might take some brainstorming, but no matter how bad things may seem, everyone has something or someone they're thankful for.
As always you can go down the tradition solo route or come up with something a little different, maybe a journal entry or a letter (incorporate both if you’re feeling brave). The usual rules apply of course, it can be as long as short as you like, so long as it exceeds the 200 word minimum for para’s. Please do remember though, all solos must be set in either the past or present time - no future para’s. By all means you can talk about things that may happen in the future or something your character’s looking toward, but not actually travel there.
Please tag all of your responses for this task with ldntask20, and we look forward to seeing what you all come up with!
