The Green Gimlet
May the luck of the Irish be with you today as you imbibe all variety of verdant libations. For your St. Patrick’s Day revels, we suggest this Green Gimlet—made from one of our signature probiotic tonics, combined with cucumber, mint, and a splash of gin.
Ingredients:
1 shot gin (or more if you are feeling extra celebratory)
Le Kif
6-8 cucumber slices
A few sprigs of fresh mint, muddled
Ice (mint and thyme infused + plain cubes)
Optional: 1 oz honey or maple syrup (or to taste)
Steps:
Add mint, cucumber slices, honey or maple syrup, and gin to cocktail shaker and muddle. (Soon the muddler will become the muddlee.)
Add a handful of plain ice to cocktail shaker and shake vigorously until chilled (or for about 30 seconds).
Fill a tumbler with mint and thyme infused ice cubes (though plain ice works, too).
Strain mixture over ice.
Top with Le Kif.
Garnish with cucumber slices and a sprig of fresh mint.
Serve to friends and leprechauns alike.
