So, let’s get started!
Lead Page
One of the most loved Landing Page creator, Lead Pages has a huge customer base today. Starting their journey in 2012, Lead Page has created its own place in the world of online marketing. So, let’s see what the features are offered by the software.
Template features
Lead Pages offers over 70 free templates that you can customise and use in your Landing Page. The editing tool is quite simple to use. You can moderate the templates in many ways, such as change the background colour, fonts etc and that too without modifying the HTML code. This feature makes it a hit among newbie marketers. Now if you are a pro and want to develop a unique Landing Page from the scratch, Lead Pages provide with that option too. The templates are 100% mobile friendly. Another feature that we found pretty cool is the auto fill trick. With this feature your visitor can already see his/her personal information filled up on the ‘opt-in’ page and thus have to simply click on ‘okay’ to subscribe. Well it may sound a bit creepy but statistic says it works. If you are using a WordPress blog, then Lead Pages is easier to use for you. There is a Word-press plug in for the software that you can use to make the operations even smoother. SEO friendliness and fast loading are other two features that we found to be useful.
Analytics Feature
One of the major features that you should look for is the spilt test facility. Lead Pages offers you an easy to do one login spilt test facility. You can integrate your Lead Pages Landing Page builder with any spilt testing application and analyse the effective of various templates for your website. The software also gives you an at-a-glance analytics report where you can see the conversation ratio, opt-in rates and unique views for your Landing Page. Graphical representation of the analysis data is also available to help you view the consolidated data.
Social Media Features
Lead Pages gives you amazing compatibility with Facebook. With just a few clicks you can post your Landing Page on Facebook and start building your list. The Facebook tabs used by this software are mobile compatible, so your visitors can easily opt-in from their handheld devices too. Although the Facebook integration of the software is pretty smooth, Lead Pages do not offer integration choices with any other social media site.
Webinar Feature
Lead Pages lets you integrate your Webinar pages by a direct ‘GotoWebinar’ option. It also allows integration with almost all major e-mail marketing services such as AWeber, Infusionsoft, OfficeAutopilot, MailChimp, GoToWebinar, 1ShoppingCart etc. We found the integration to be smooth.
Price
Lead Pages offer you three categories of pricing plan, Month-by-month, Annual and 2-year billing.
While the standard monthly packages are quite pricey at $37 a month, it does not offer many valuable services such as A/B spilt testing, Template Importer, Sub-accounts etc.
The annual packages are starts from $25 a month, but again the starting package miss the vital services mentioned above.
The 2-yearly package starts at $17 a month and the problem with starting package persists.
Frankly, if you want to get the proper services you’ll have to go for the Pro-Monthly packages with are quite over-priced according to us. The software does not offer any free trail as well. So, there is no way to check out the quality of service before you make some investment.
Customer Service
Lead Pages offers quite decent customer service over Live Chat and telephonic support. You can also avail some great tutorials from their website.

Customer service
GetResponse have a great customer service mechanism via Live chat, telephonic support, email support. The software also offers some great tutorial videos and downloadable manuals for their users.
Final Verdict
Though Lead Pages is a decent Landing Page software we found the limited social media integration quite annoying. Also the pricing plans are long way from reasonable. There is no free trail as well, so that to understand their quality of service without investing.
On the other hand GetResponse offers way more than reasonable pricing, and the awesome one month free trail. While the other features remain more or less same, this software give you YouTube and PayPal integration as well . Also if you go for GetResponse you’ll not have to engage any other e-mail marketing service, and thus would save a lot of money.
So, after reviewing both the software, we would go for GetResponse only.
