We would like to express heart-felt thanks to the ICAA New England Chapter and to everyone who came out to the Harvard Club of Boston this Saturday evening for the 2016 Bulfinch Awards ceremony gala to help celebrate the continued relevance of classical architecture and art. This elliptical dome we created for the U.S. Senate Chamber Recreation at the Edward M. Kennedy Institute for the United States Senate in Boston, MA measures approximately 76' x 34' and features a decorative fluted band as well as Greek key fretwork pattern along its lower perimeter. The dome was just one item in a long list of cast plaster elements we created for this very special room. We at @hydeparkmouldings are deeply honored to have this work selected to receive the @classicist_org 2016 Bulfinch Award in the category of Craftsmanship / Artisanship. #bulfinchawards #leadersofdesign
