Each morning, before I put my feet on the ground, I give thanks to God and the Universe for all I have. I also give thanks for all of the beautiful people in my life: my girlfriend, family, friends, co-workers, and neighbors. I feel the act of gratitude sets the stage for a positive day and keeps my vibration at an optimal level. So it was no surprise when on my way to work, the man sitting across from me on the F train was wearing a baseball cap with a genie lamp on it. Smiling to myself, thinking of Aladdin, I made my wish. I wished for peace, I added all of the people on the train, my girlfriend, family, friends, my dog, co-workers, old and current, and my neighbors, I then expanded my wish to cover all of New York!
When I arrived in Manhattan, I entered the local Starbucks for a hot almond milk latte and walked through Central Park as I often do, to watch the dogs from the neighborhood play, and to ground myself. Just as I was leaving the park, I spotted an angel card of Uriel on one of the park benches.
For those of you who may not know, Uriel is the angel of peace. It was at the point I knew my wish for peace on the train was heard, I gave thanks to Uriel, then flipped the card over to find a post-it note, and it said, “You found this card for a reason #leadwithenergy.” So to all of you out there, if you’ve ever wondered if you’re being heard by God/Universe/Higher Power, the answer is an unequivocal yes! I hope this card and post bring you peace, love, and forgiveness.
